International Space University-Space Studies Program Celebrates Anniversary at Florida Tech, KSC June 4-Aug. 3; Sponsors Sought

MELBOURNE, FLA.—International Space University/ Space Studies Program (ISU-SSP12) will celebrate its 25th anniversary at Florida Institute of Technology and Kennedy Space Center June 4-Aug. 3. Sponsorships are available.

The SSP will offer about 130 young participants a unique and comprehensive education featuring experts, scholars and space professionals from around the world and covering all aspects of space programs and enterprises. These include space physical sciences, space systems engineering, policy and law, business and management, space and society, satellite applications, and space life sciences and human spaceflight.

“As the chair of the local organizing committee I invite potential sponsors to be part of this extraordinary international educational program and to take advantage of this opportunity for local, national and international marketing through ISU-SSP12,”said Florida Tech University Professor Guy A. Boy.

The Space Studies Program also will bring to campus the freeTEDx Lecture Event, which will be on July 6 from 9 a.m.-noonat the Gleason Performing Arts Center at Florida Tech. TEDxISU and leaders from the space community will address how ideas in technology, entertainment and design influence and inspire their work in space.The audience will comprise leaders from the space industry, participants of the ISU-SSP12 session, personnel from NASA and local space industry companies and the general public.
