Fall for the Arts at the Foosaner Oct. 5 with Winston Scott Jazz Ensemble

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Foosaner Art Museum will join in Fall for the Arts Oct. 5 in the Eau Gallie Arts District with Jazz Friday. The family-friendly street party takes place 5-8:30 p.m.

Jazz Friday will feature the Winston Scott Jazz Ensemble. Former astronaut and trumpet player Scott, is Florida Tech senior vice president for external relations and economic development. He is also part of the Florida Tech president’s all faculty band, TWITCHY.

Currently at the Foosaner Art Museum are two art exhibitions on display: the ongoing Ernst Oppler: German Impressionist and Talismans/D.X. Ross, opening that evening and continuing through Jan. 6, 2013.
