Textile Center Presents Beading Workshop Oct. 21

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts at Florida Institute of Technology announces a fall 2013 beading workshop Monday, Oct. 21, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., on the second floor mezzanine of the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts.

In this three-hour workshop, participants will join instructor Judy Peragallo, a local beader and jewelry maker, in creating their own beaded bracelet. No prior experience or pattern are necessary and all tools are provided.

Admission for the workshop is $45 for the general public and $30 for Friends of Textiles members and Florida Tech staff, faculty and students. All skill levels are welcome. This workshop is limited to 10 participants and is presented in conjunction with the center’s current exhibit Textiles & Culture: Highlights from the Permanent Collection, which will be on view at the Ruth Funk Center through Dec. 14.
