Grad Bash Features Food, Fun for Graduates and Families May 2 at Crawford Green

MELBOURNE, FLA. — A first-time campus event promises food, drinks and live music for graduating students, their family members and friends on May 2, the eve of Florida Institute of Technology’s spring commencement ceremonies.

Panther4Life Grad Bash, from 5-8 p.m. on Crawford Green, is sponsored by the Alumni Association, Campus Activities Board and Greek Life, with additional support coming from the Office of the President. It is in honor of the more than 1,100 students who have petitioned to graduate on May 3 and serves as a welcome into Florida Tech’s Alumni Association.

The event is free to graduating students, their families and friends, and faculty.

“This is a way for the Alumni Association to engage with our graduating students in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere,” said Bino Campanini, vice president of alumni affairs. “Our hope is that this celebration will be an annual success similar to our Homecoming Fest.”
