Ted Parker Joins Scott Center Advisory Board

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Ted Parker, founder and CEO of the Melbourne-based staffing firm Revolution Technologies, has joined the advisory board of Florida Institute of Technology’s Scott Center for Autism Treatment.

“Ted will be a valuable asset to the board,” said Colleen Middlebrooks, the center’s director of community relations.

Parker is a strong believer in giving back to his community.

In addition to his work with the Scott Center, he and his wife Melissa recently formed The Parker Foundation for Autism and Child Development. Parker is also involved with his alma mater, University of Central Florida, as well as charitable organizations including The Woman’s Center, The Down Syndrome Guild, The Daily Bread, Junior Achievement, Brevard Rescue Mission and Candlelighters.

“I’m so excited to be a part of an organization like The Scott Center, an organization that is making a difference in the lives of so many children and families,” Parker said. “It is truly an honor.”

Parker founded Revolution Technologies in 1993 and under his leadership, the company has become one of the 10 fastest-growing staffing firms in the industry. This growth has included the development of Revolution’s new corporate headquarters and national recruitment center and the expansion of branch locations, which now number 18 across the country.
