Scott Center for Autism Treatment’s Evening of Hope VIII April 9 at Exploration Tower

MELBOURNE, FLA. — One of the Space Coast’s most anticipated events, the Scott Center for Autism Treatment’s annual fundraiser, An Evening of Hope VIII: Night of Wishes, is set to enchant and entertain from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, April 9.

The eighth annual celebration, featuring a Gasparilla pirate theme, will take place inside and outside Port Canaveral’s iconic Exploration Tower.

This annual gala helps support Florida Tech’s Scott Center and raises critical scholarship and subsidy funds. The event will feature food from Green Turtle Market, beer from Florida Beer Company and entertainment by Wonderama.

Sponsorships are available for the annual fundraising gala, which helps support the center’s scholarship and subsidy efforts. Ranging from the $500 Faith level to the $15,000 Hope level, which is the event’s title sponsor, each level includes at least two and as many as 16 tickets to attend Evening of Hope.

Another important part of the night will be the WISH sponsorships. A WISH is a $100 pledge to sponsor one day of early intervention services for a child at the Scott Center.

Last year’s Evening of Hope raised over $200,000, including $100,000 in WISH scholarship funding.

Once again this year, Kempf’s Jewelers has generously donated one of the world’s best timepieces, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-MASTER II, which will be raffled as a key component of the Scott Center fundraising efforts. This 40mm, stainless steel timepiece is valued at $8,450.

Raffle tickets are available for a suggested donation of $25 each at the Scott Center on the Florida Tech campus in Melbourne, Kempf’s Jewelers at 336 Fifth Ave. in Indialantic or online at www.thescottcenter.org/raffle. The winning ticket will be drawn at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at Kempf’s Jewelers.
