WHAT: Signing of Cooperative Research and Development Agreement between the Air Force Technical Applications Center and Florida Institute of Technology.

WHERE: Hartley Room, Denius Student Center, Florida Tech campus, 150 W. University Blvd., Melbourne  

WHO: Florida Tech President and CEO T. Dwayne McCay, Ph.D., and AFTAC Chief Scientist Dr. Glenn Sjoden, along with distinguished scientists, researchers and officials.

MORE: Under terms of this important agreement, AFTAC will provide subject matter expertise in nuclear monitoring analysis and nuclear event detection, and Florida Tech will perform research in pattern recognition, machine learning, high-performance computing, information assurance, and geophysical and materials modeling and simulation.
