Florida Tech Introduces New Master’s Degree Program at

– A master’s degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) will now be available at Florida Institute of Technology’s Orlando Graduate Center. The university,
which grants the degree through its School of Psychology, began to offer the program in 1998 at the Melbourne main campus.

To introduce the program in Orlando, informational meetings are scheduled on Jan. 31, 4:30-6 p.m., and Feb. 7, 5 to 6 p.m. at the Orlando Graduate Center.
The center is at: Koger Executive Center, 3165 McCrory Place, Suite 156.

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. has approved Florida Tech’s course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take
the Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination. Applicants, in addition, must meet supervised experience requirements to qualify.

Behavior analysts may specialize in clinical applications such as develop-mental disabilities and mental health; educational applications such as working
with business and industry, and in other areas. The program offers two different tracks: Clinical Behavior Analysis and Organizational Behavior Management.
