Art and Champagne: Foosaner Art Museum Continues Time-honored Tradition Sept. 26

MELBOURNE, FLA. – The Foosaner Art Museum Guild, now in its 31st year, will host its Annual Champagne Reception on Monday, Sept. 26, 3 to 5 p.m., in the museum galleries. This highly anticipated community event is open and free to the public. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and talk with museum director Carla Funk and learn more about Brevard’s leading fine arts museum. Reception attendees are also encouraged to tour the museum’s current exhibition: “Building Books by David Macaulay,” which celebrates and explores the creative process and artistic legacy of the author and artist.

Although the reception is free, tickets are required and may be picked up at the Museum Store through Sept. 23. The Foosaner Art Museum is located at 1463 Highland Ave. in the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne. Call (321) 242-0737 for more information.

The Foosaner Art Museum (formerly Brevard Museum of Art) merged with Florida Institute of Technology in July.
