Community Invited to Cancer Medicine Seminar April 18

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Lincoln Stein, M.D., Ph.D., director of The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, will present “Towards Personalized Cancer Medicine” from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the Olin Life Sciences Building Room 130 at Florida Institute of Technology. Presented by the Institute for Biotechnology and Biomedical Science, the seminar is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in Olin Life Sciences Room 201.

Stein previously served as professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and was director of informatics at the MIT Genome Center, Whitehead Institute of Biomedical Research. He completed his M.D. and Ph.D. at Harvard University and was the 2004 recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Award in Bioinformatics.
