Cross Cultural Management Summit Set for Feb. 18-20 at Crowne Plaza Oceanfront

Global Focus, Renowned Speakers Hallmarks of Biennial Event

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Some of the nation’s top thought leaders, global executives and government professionals will be participating in the 2016 Cross Cultural Management Summit Feb. 18-20 at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront.

The biennial event from Florida Institute of Technology’s world-renowned Institute for Cross Cultural Management tackles global challenges and cross-cultural-management issues through presentations, interactive problem solving and workshops.

Target audiences include business executives, learning and development professionals, military researchers, diversity officers and academicians and students.

Attendees can expect to learn and gain insight from three main topic tracks: culture and strategy; developing global leaders; and cross cultural competence through experiential learning.

Sessions will center on key issues, including solving problems related to cross-cultural competence, global leadership, and managing conflict across cultures. Overall, the summit features energizing collaboration and communication with globally-focused individuals across sectors.

The keynote presentation is by Fons Tromepnaars from KPMG Netherlands. He will offer, “Leadership in a Challenging World.” Other speakers include Paula Caligiuri, the D’Amore-McKim Distinguished Professor of International Business at Northeastern University, and Ernest Gundling, Ph.D., managing partner and co-founder of Aperian Global.

In addition, ICCM is offering two workshops the week of the summit on cross cultural competence and global leadership. Both workshops are approved for seven HRCI recertification credits. Register for both and receive a discount.
