Florida Tech Confers 619 Degrees as Summer Commencement Held Saturday at Clemente

MELBOURNE, FLA. — More than 350 graduate and undergraduate students participated in Florida Institute of Technology’s summer commencement Saturday, July 29.

Nearly 260 graduate studeents and 97 undergraduates received their degrees during the ceremony at bustling Charles and Ruth Clemente Center on the Florida Tech campus. The students represented more than a dozen states and 31 countries.

Overall, the university bestowed 619 degrees, including 262 degrees earned online and 113 from Florida Tech’s off-site locations.

Florida Tech President Dwayne McCay offered remarks at the ceremony, highlighting several notable alumni representing each of Florida Tech’s five colleges.
