Girls in Aviation Day Oct. 13 at F.I.T. Aviation

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Young girls interested in aviation and the possibilities of flight are invited to Girls in Aviation Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at F.I.T. Aviation, 801 Harry Goode Way at Orlando Melbourne International Airport.

The free public event is hosted by the Women in Aviation Space Coast Florida Tech Chapter. It is designed for participants ages 8-17.

Aviation businesses and organizations will have informational displays. Guests may also use flight simulators, experience an unmanned aerial system display, and participate in airport design activities.
