‘Tis the Season for…Emotional Challenges

Florida Tech Psychologist Available for Interviews
on Handling the Holidays, New Year’s Resolutions

WHO: Patrick Aragon, licensed psychologist, assistant professor and assistant director of clinical training at Florida Tech.

WHY: The holiday season is upon us, and for some people that may not mean decking the halls and being jolly. This is often a time of emotional challenges, loneliness, critical self-reflection and, of course, resolutions that seem destined to go unfulfilled. What brings this on? What are some suggestions for coping? And what can help the odds of succeeding with those New Year’s resolutions?

WHAT: To arrange to speak with Dr. Aragon, who is available for telephone, Skype, in-person or on-camera interviews, please contact University News Bureau Chief Adam Lowenstein at adam@fit.edu or 321-674-8964.

MORE: Dr. Aragon received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. His interests include empathy in the process of forgiveness and therapeutic necessity; chronic mental health with inpatient and homeless individuals; substance abuse prevention and intervention.
