Florida Tech Women’s Rowing Ranked No. 2 in the Nation

Panthers Earn 172 Votes, Including One for First Place

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech women’s rowing finds itself as one of the top teams in the country as they garnered the No. 2 ranking and one first-place vote.
 
After a dominant weekend at the DII Double Duals, Tech broke its second-place tie with Western Washington. The Panthers grabbed 172 votes which are only six points behind the University of Central Oklahoma but 57 points ahead of WWU.
 
The Crimson and Gray is the top-ranked Sunshine State Conference School as they are ahead of No. 7 Barry plus Rollins and Embry-Riddle both who are receiving votes.

Florida Tech will look to keep up its strong showings this season when they head to the FIRA Championships April 5-6.
