The Class of 2019 is one of the most global of any Florida Tech class in recent years, with students from 83 countries.

Featuring engineering and science projects that demonstrate Florida Tech’s renowned hands-on approach to education, the event is free and open to the public.

Melbourne resident Brian Davidson won the $50,000 grand prize at the marquee event of Sporting Affair XXVII, Florida Tech’s annual athletics fundraiser.

The goal is to secure participation by obtaining donations from as many Florida Tech alumni as possible during this 24-hour time period.

The university community is deeply saddened by the passing of Katarina “Kat” Moller, who died Thursday night in a racing accident at Sebring International Raceway.

A public memorial service the will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic.
