The gift will be used for scholarships and specific programs at the Florida Tech-based facility, including Aces for Autism and the Social Skills Groups.

More than a third of the total raised -- $75,000 -- will go toward the Scott Center’s WISH scholarships, which provide early intervention treatment for children with autism and related disorders to families that otherwise could not afford it.

The eighth annual celebration, featuring a Gasparilla pirate theme, will help support Scott Center and raise critical scholarship and subsidy funds.

Created and narrated by Michael E. Kelley, Ph.D., executive director of the Scott Center, the segments will cover a vital range of topics.

The winner would receive two tickets to Super Bowl 50, round-trip coach air fare for two to and two nights’ lodging.

New free site has more than 100 videos featuring experts from the Scott Center and Florida Tech, as well as parents discussing their challenges, experiences and successes.

The inaugural tournament will be at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes. Proceeds benefit the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and the Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Institute of Technology.
